Gideon
Judges 6 & 7 (NIV)
The Israelites once again turned to God for help. The Midianites were
oppressing them. In answer to their prayers, God raised up Gideon as a Judge. He sent his
angel to speak with Gideon and also gave Him signs to assure Gideon. The story of Gideon
tells of his faith and of God's great power in defeating the enimies of Israel.
