The 2015 Feast of Tabernacles

Masaba, Kenya, East Africa

These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons – You shall observe the feast of tabernacles seven day, after you have gathered in your corn and your wine, and you shall rejoice in thy feast.      (Leviticus 23:4 Deuteronomy 16:12)

As many of you know, our Brethren in E. Africa are rich in faith but reside among the poor of this world in terms of material wealth. Without our help, most will not be able to attend this year’s feast. Yes, 2014has been another difficult year for our impoverished brethren due to the adverse weather conditions. Most are peasant farmers, and many have lost much of their crops (and some their homes) to terrible flooding. Some of our brethren are also, once again, going a day a week withouteating, as famine continues to plague parts of E. Africa.

I do hope that those of you reading this will be moved in your heart to pitch in and help our impoverished brethren with a little assistance.  This is a perfect opportunity for us to show our faith by our works.

You may say thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.     (James 2:18}

What a fantastic opportunity our Creator has given us, to be able to assist our brethren who have been living their lives impoverished. The Apostle John admonishes us to love in deed & truth, by stating:

Whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dweleth the love of God in him?    (1John 3:17)

We ask all of to please help make it possible for our African brethren to attend this year’s Feast of Tabernacles. It’s the only opportunity they have to assemble together at one place, where they can converse with one another, and worship and praise The Almighty God together.
